Just got finished with my classes at CRC. Love the topic (health care IT) but hate the hours. Getting home at 10:00 to fall asleep at 10:30, only to get up at 6:00 and deal with 13 year olds is not my idea of a winning plan.
This is making me a nite owl, which totally sucks on my day job. Hopefully this will end soon.
The worst part of my classes is that my colleagues and I think these classes will not help us at all to secure a job in this new field. We were promised a nice salary doing either implementation, troubleshooting, or teaching (all three right up my alley), but I and others in the program are beginning to feel little connection to any practical application...
